Signing up for new service with Orchard Dale Water District is easy. Please contact our offices at (562)941-0114. One of our customer service representatives will take your personal information over the phone or you may also come into our offices, located at 13819 E Telegraph Road, Whittier.
The District requires the following information for new service:
- Name
- Service Address
- Mailing Address (if different)
- Phone Number
- Owner or Tenant (See special instructions below for Owners renting property)
- SSN & Date of Birth
- Employer
- Employer Address and Phone Number
- Nearest Relative or Emergency Contact (Name and Phone)
New service turn-on(s) are typically done the following business day. You will be billed an application fee of $10.00 on your first water bill.

**Special Owner/Tenant Service Affidavit Form**
Applications for water service to residential rental property require service to be provided on account of the property owner or, alternatively, upon co-application by both the property owner and the tenant of the premises that will be served by the metered connection. Tenants/Owners may be required to file an affidavit with the District, signed by the owner assuming responsiblity for any unpaid water charges resulting from the actuation of the by the tenant.
